CSIR NET Life Science is an exam held by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to select the PhD aspirants for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and also for establishing the appointment of lecturers (NET) in the areas of Science and Technology.

Many students are interested in pursuing their career in research and opt for PhD program in the domain of their interest. Additionally, candidates clearing NET-LS are eligible for lectureship all over India. For individual states, state-level entrance (SET) is carried out for recruitment of lecturers.
